His and Hers Halloween

So as a little Halloween treat I wanted to share some of the amazing costumes my friends and I came up with. Now in true American Halloween style we went a little less scary and a little more fun. Us ladies went as 1940′s pin-ups, and I now wish I could do my hair like this everyday.

The gorgeous Florence and Melissa wore Primark boys shirts (customised of course) sexy high waited shorts and stockings.

I wore my dads old shirt, American Apparel shorts, Ann Summers stockings (with the seam up the back) and my new Bertie shoes. Absolutely loved getting this dressed up, wouldn’t have been able to do it with out the girls teaching me how to use curling irons.

George, Riley and Paddy went as The Horrors but I much prepare George’s take that he was the “ghost of indie past”. They were all wearing Primark girls skinny black jeans and an array of clothes they managed to beg, borrow and steal. As well as some excellent make up courtesy of the lovely Florence.

And last but certainly not least we have Pete who took a slightly more traditional approach and went as a mommy, but not just any mommy a posh mommy. I always love a bow tie.

Some Natural History

Spotting at Frieze

There was plenty of good styling at Frieze today, unfortunately I was slightly off game so didn’t get photo’s of all the people I would have liked to. But here is some of my spotting. It was ridiculous how many designer handbags were floating around today, like the last two ladies with their Chanel’s. Also the boys were out in force, plenty of chino’s and blazers, I really liked the first guys green pants even more so with his Toms.

Us At Frieze

Today my friends and I went to the Frieze Art Fair and froze are asses off in the cold October weather. It was the perfect excuse to where my new vintage dress, I love me a bit of lace! Also wanted everyone to meet my gorgeous friend Melissa, she always looks ridiculously good, especially in this Topshop leather skirt. As well as the lovely Riley who was very pleased with himself today as he got to meet Ricky Gervais.

So James rocked up to Selfridges in this wicked outfit this morning, obviously everything is from ASOS sample sale, other than the amazing Beyond Retro backpack. Love to see the different sides of his style every time we go out.

Me and My Chanel

So after all my hoping and wishing my prayers were finally answered, I got my very own Chanel bag. She is a vintage from the early 80′s and I found her in a vintage shop in Shoreditch. Blondie is one of the Absolute Vintage chain and sells an amazing range of vintage including Chanel bags and silk scarves. I am very much in love and think we will have a happy future together.

Romance In Paris

Love was most definitely in the air in Paris, as you would expect. This couple was one if my favorite photo’s of the whole trip, they were so in love they couldn’t keep their hand off each other on that warm September evening.

There is a Bridge in Paris were people put padlocks with the names of themselves and their lovers, it is an amazing sight as there are hundreds of them. This is just one of the ones I saw.

Only in Paris is it that even the older locals are impeccably dressed, so as well as catching photo’s of the cool young people I was constantly seeing stunning outfits on older Parisians. Now if only I could look that good at that age . . .
